Love type? Then you won't want to miss this evening! AIGA Upstate NY proudly presents Typeface, a Kartemquin Films documentary by Justine Nagan along with pre and post movie events of interest to fellow type lovers.

Arrive early for a woodtype show and tell led by David Pankow, Manager, Cultural Collections and Curator, Cary Library.

Show up at the Webb Auditorium where Typeface brings a fascinating junction of historical and contemporary, as well as rural and urban America together for enjoyment and contemplation. This film will be of interest to art and graphic design enthusiasts, to teachers as an educational resource, and to anyone looking for a film about perseverance and preservation in the heart of America. http://typeface.kartemquin.com/about

Stay after the film to enjoy a mixer hosted by the AIGA RIT student group where concessions, posters and other design goods will be available for purchase.
